very nice brother, got 2 lake trout around 10lbs or so in the spring on my flyrod and a #6 woolly bugger. No big rainbows this year, nothing over 4lbs.
I am going nuts to get on the water, even considering carping in the local sloughs and backeddies just to get out, never done it but am going to try next week.
You do nice camera work.

Let us know how you go

Kind regards

Count me in the sick of winter crew. I love to fish but I don't get around on the ice to well anymore. There is 40 inches of ice on every body of water in this state. Except for below the Dam at Bismark/Mandan. Boat fishing when it is zero or below ain't much fun.

I love you man....but SUMMER SUCKS!! BUgs, sweat, and ticks.....no thanks, give a good case of frost bite...anyday,

I love the winter, but after living out of MN I forgot how long it takes to start fishing again. I will use my time wiser this year.

We don't have those summer problems, Summer is only the fourth of July and one day on each side of it. We have,

Almost winter
Winter
Still winter
Fourth of July.

If Summer falls on a Sunday, we often have a picnic.:)

Spent another day working in sleety drizzley s**tty muddy cluster. But any day above ground is a good day eh. Im thankful to be working and even though it was crappy today its still lovely in its own way. I guess every season has its pluses and minuses. Soon it will be july and ill be whining about the sun beatin down on me all day LOL.
