Hello, friends.
I just wanted to take a minute to say that I've noticed at quite a few people have posted in the WTB section of bladeforums asking for very specific color variations of specific models of the new line. If you really want any particular style of knife, I would suggest that you go easy on the requests for some of those colors, or put in a statement that reads something like ".... colors prefered, but will consider other offers". Since these models are still fairly new, I don't think most people will want to give them up, so you might have a tough time getting ANY color variation of a particular knife.
I'm only writing this because I've seen many unanswered ads in recent days.
That's all folks, have a nice day. Of course, sometime you just gotta have what you really want, and nothing else will do. Whatever.

Good observation and good suggestion.

Fortunately, one of the nice things about being as new to the Busse addiction as I am is that you'll take anything you can get, when you can get it. :D They're all good!

I havent done too bad so far. Within a few weeks Ive scored the following.

MS - DC finish Black paper (private sale)
MS - DC finish - Snakeskin (busse store)
MS - Satin - Green Linen (busse store)
FSH - Blk/blk (busse store)
FSH - OD/Blk (busse store) on the way!!
UD - private sale on the way!!
PD - made offer private sale

waiting and watching for SJtacs!!

If you can't wait or hate to wait then yeah, Your better off not being picky. I've asked for specific combinations a few times, had to wait two or three months but it paid off. There was once or twice where someone posted looking for the same knife as me. I thought about posting "Back off, I was here first" in their thread! But I didn't. ;)
 
I've learned more about patience these past few months then I think I have in my whole life. Yes, patience is the key when it comes to having the things we most want. Like a DC SFNO w/ Mag blk canvas handles! :(

Someday! :D
