I don't know much about this fellow other than that he may be a European surgeon. I believe that he is the same individual that slices up deer all the time in other vids.

Those square shoulders at the tang blade junction create a stress-riser and weaken the knife. Notice how some have been radiused to eliminate such a shoulder.

Off topic, but that guy has a vid where he cuts himself testing a knife and then stitches up his own hand. How cool would it be to have the skills and access to the equipment to do that yourself? Would come in mighty handy for us knife knuts. Just thought of it because it was the first vid of his I'd seen.
