Many months ago, forum member Tenacious D sent me half a dozen knives to mod for him. When the details were finally settled and materials chosen, work was finally started. TD was extremely patient while I got the work completed. Unfortunately, I did not take any before pictures, maybe that's a good thing, as some of them looked pretty nice to begin with (i.e. soup bone). Luckily, I think the finished products came out pretty good as well.

There were 4 TC's and 2 caplifters. TD went back and forth with choices for materials, I could tell it was a tough choice for him, but I personally enjoyed with his material choices. Here are the pics, sorry there are so many, I couldn't choose which ones, so I am posting them all...

TC's in bark elephant ivory

TC's in amboyna burl

These caplifters TD wanted to have barlow bolsters with some threading...

First the amboyna burl...

And my new favorite material, buckeye burl....

I really enjoyed working on these and the different cover materials, excellent choices TD, and thanks for trusting me with your projects!

Hope you guys enjoy as well!

Love amboyna wood! I have always wanted a 73 in that wood.
That amboyna clip may be my favorite TC out there now!

Glenn,

Fine, fine work, as always.

Was the Brazilian rosewood from the Anniversary barlow salvageable...?
