WEll people, ive been on these forums a lot, and ive asked many, many questions, and today im going to do a little followup. A long time ago i posted about getting a new watch, and after many suggestions that differed, i went and bought a seiko kinetic with auto relay water resis to 200m. I went to the jewlery shops, and it was priced at $$995 canadian. I was a little freaked, and decided to stop shopping for the day.(i was on a limit of 500 bucks) and i decidded to go to costco (like sams club) and get groceries because we were in that part of town, i decided while i was there to check the watches. To m y surprise they had my watch, for 335. Thats a little more than 1/3 the price. Im very hjappy with it aswell.

Secondly, i posted a thread about getting a digital camera. After following UnknownVT's advice, i looked for a camera with an optical zoom, and atleast 3 megapixel. I found a camera to my liking that had just been released, the nikon coolpix 3100. So i bought it, loaded up on a memory card, charged up the batteries and had a shooting fest. I love it, its great, small, EASY, and it takes cool little 30 second videos, which i think is awesome, because i only wanted to take still photos, but thats really cool. Only thing that i dont like, is that in the manual it doesent show you how to do those slide show movies. (have you seen the commercials?). Well folks thats a ll i have to say.
See watch here

Ron: Thx for the move

Very cool watch, Aaron!

Gotta love those features. And you found one for the right price too, good job. It really does pay to shop around a bit.

I'd buy myself a better watch too, it's just that I seem to always blow my cash on knives, if I have anything extra left between mortgage payments. My G-shock will have to do for now.:(

Hey, if you ever need to get the watch serviced make sure they do that water-proofing correctly.
I say this because I had my battery changed on my G-shock and now I've got these little water bubbles under the glass. I can barely even see the date anymore. DAMN those numb-nuts at the watch store.

It's very common for jewellery shops to be overpriced...that's why if you ever need a diamond...go through a broker...you'll get more diamond for your money. Where do you think the jewellers get their diamonds?

Although, I'm still surprised the you found it for 1/3 retail...pretty nutty.
