This is different than the 5 folders thread below.

Rules:

  • These five also have to include your kitchen knives, hatchet, saw and multitools, if you'll have them
  • Don't worry about durability, assume you will easily repair or replace one that breaks. (So you can use expensive ones)
  • You can totally neglect some categories, if you want
My 5:
  1. Victorinox Explorer Plus (multi tool, EDC)
  2. Spyderco Delica (parer, EDC)
  3. A.G. Russell 10" chef's knife (main cooking knife)
  4. Fiskars 17" splitting axe (can choke up a bit and it doubles as a hatchet)
  5. Buck Vanguard, in rosewood/brass w/S30v. (General purpose outdoor knife, medium kitchen knife)

For today, since some of these will change in subsequent months and years:

1. Shun classic 6in chefs knife
2. Spyderco Para 3 in some form of upgraded steel (xhp, m390, future lc200n?)
3. WE Knives Wisp
4. Ferrum Forge Fortis 2.0
5. Cold Steel SRK in 3V

1. Leatherman Charge
2. Wusthof Chefs knife
3. Bark River Bravo 1
4. Benchmade Steep Country Hunter
5. Zero Tolerance 0560

Spyderco K2
Carothers HDFK
Liam Hoffman Farm Ax
CRK River of Fire Mnandi
Kramer Meteorite 8” chefs knife

Rockstead Higo
Umnumzaan
Sebenza Large
Wilkins Leafstorm
Fallkniven F1

This is just cruel. If I had to do it:

1. Wusthof Classic Chef’s Knife - 8” - Large kitchen knife.
2. Victorinox Alox Farmer - EDC folder, Saw
3. LM Squirt PS4 - EDC multi-tool
4. Fiddleback Forge Bushfinger - Woods
5. Fiddleback Forge Monarch - EDC, paring knife.

My mix looks like this:

Shiro F95T in Vanax 37
Survive 4.7 in 3V (or maybe the old spec 4.1)
Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 in M4
CPK HDFK in Delta 3V
Custom bowie/fighter by Michal Komarovski, maybe his "MOZART" or "DEVIL" knives - oh my would those be fun.

Cpk hdfk.
Cpk fk.
Cpk potato knife.
Vic sak camper.
Gb small forest axe.

I'm assuming here I'd have access to a good pair of pliers or the sak would be replaced by a lm wave.

These lists are getting a bit ridiculous. What's next?

Once again, from what I own:
- Helle Dokka
- Morakniv Robust
- Tramontina 18" machette
- Opinel No. 12 Inox
- Kelly Works TT Cruiser
I could live without the kitchen specific stuff. I would hate like hell to leave my Hults Bruk Agdor hatchet behind, so I would probably grab it when y'all aren't watching.

- Cannot name this brand here (will get flamed)
- Cannot name this brand here (will really get flamed):oops:

Some sort of splitting axe

Hinderer Half Track Spear Point
Hinderer XM 18 3.5 Slicer
Hinderer XM 24 Spanto
ESEE 5

Lionsteel T5 (Midsize Survival, Camp/Hunting)
Steel Will Gekko 1500 (EDC folder)
Leatherman Surge (Multi-Tool)
