A.G Russell, Lowell Arkansas. I think Camillus made this for the AG Russell company, maybe early 90s, but could be wrong.

Grand daddy barlow. The 1973 issue from AG Russell's 'The knife collectors Club'. 12,000 made, according to Levine's guide. You want a really rare model of this knife? Search for one of the 25 gold etched and engraved ones.

Matt,

Nice knife!

I'm pretty certain that it reads CM-2, as that was how the series was numbered. As stated by the gentleman above, it was the 2nd Knife Collector's Club knife, done for A.G. Russell's club in 1973. The number 2243 is the serial number of your knife. Mine is #1368. They originally came as shown in this picture.....

.....and any of the first 25 are quite hard to find, and would bring a nice price, I would believe.

Thank you ..
[ If you look , mine deff looks like a G ?? ]

Possibly a carbon spot, nick or the like?

Anyway...the series was:
CM-1 1971 Schrade 12,000
CM-2 1973 Camillus 12,000
CM-3 1974 Puma 3,700
CM-4 1975 Bertram 1,800
CM-5 1977 Bertram 1,200

ETC...etc...etc.

Anyway, all nicely done knives, IMO.
