I always liked the wharncliffe blades, not only for their smooth curves and nice look, but also because of the cutting efficiency. A while back I noticed the A.G. Russel Curved Regular Jack, so I decided to make it a try

Its easy to notice the good level of fits and finish on this knife

The bone handles are well contoured and worked properly

The blade is shaped lovely, and razor sharp

I also like the steel used for this folder, Sandvik 12C27 is good enough for me

Blade deadly centered, something that I like a lot in a folder

All this is to be expected and somehow normal in a slip joint made in USA (or in Italy i.e.), but the surprise is that this knife is made in China

I like the size of this knife, very pocketable but big enough to be used in a daily base

In summary, a good, well made slip joint. That said, for some reasons, he didnt give me the same warm feeling of the GEC folders I own: knives mystery
As a side note, hope you do like the leather strap I handmade for my Seiko Samurai White

Ciao,
Alfredo
