A.G. Russell Featherlite

I'd like to here some comments too. The top lock looks convient although I don't think it comes with a clip so that would be a down side.

I have the K-93C. I use it everyday at work. Holds a good edge and cuts very well. It's an excellent value.

I have one with made from 8A steel with the utility blade. Love the knife. It sharpens easily and holds an edge reasonably well. I have also had the original all steel one hand knife. I have never had a concern about the lock failing. They are both very easy to open and close one handed. I found the zytel handled knife more comfortable to use than the steel version as the handle is slightly thicker and the edges are more rounded. For an inexpensive daily using knife, there is nothing I have found that is better. Its draw backs IMO are the handle is a little short and there is a slight amount of play in the blade; but at this price level, I don't think you will find a better knife.

I have had the AUS-8 Utility blade variety for years and it is a pleasure to carry in your pocket. It is so light you won't even notice it is there. The lock has always held for me and it does close easily with one hand. I find the kives of this length often carry better in the pocket rather than clipped anyway, so the absence of the clip isn't a problem. Since I almost lost my Mini-Socom due to slipping out of my pocket at the pistol range, I don't like to carry that length of knife clipped. Even took the clip off my PE Calypso JR for the same reason.

Even though I have so many other knives in my collection, the Featherlite is still a favorite of mine. It spent many a day in my pocket doing everthing I asked of it.

For the price, get one you won't be sorry. Another A.G. knife not to pass up is his Woodswalker with the kidex sheath. A great little neck scaple.

Markd1,
When AG first offered this knife I fell in love with it. So did five other people in my office. I ordered 6 with overnight delivery and walla we had them the next morning. The only thing I changed was cleaning up (removing sharp edges) the opening slot. It has been my EDC ever since. I'm thinking of upgrading it with one with better steel. Buy it you will not be sorry.
Good Collecting !
