A.G. Russell in Turkey

This summer a friend of my dad has visited us. Bodrum (where I live) is somewhat St Tropez of Turkey, 10 thousand population rises almost to 2 Mil for 3 months in summer. Anyway, this friend had a friend of his beside him, he was a British guy heard about me that I was a some kind of knifemaker. He was interested in knives, we talked about knives and swords for some time, showed him my shop and my knives. He was excited a lot, than he showed some knives he bought some years ago. Most of them were crap, small edc's and folders. But a folder caught my eye, an AG Russell folder... Apparently he wanted to customize it to his liking and he literally f..ked the knife. I was very angry, said "what did you do to that beauty?!!!". He handed over it to me saying "you can keep it, I didn't use it anyways...".
I couldn't believe, but I had a AG Russell folder in my posession for no money after all. I used this folder since, really a performer, easy to carry, flush open, sturdy...
For some time I was thinking to restore it somehow. Any suggestions?

What a butcher !!! I carried one for years and now have the CPM154 version. A fine design !
The only thing I would do with that one would be to smooth the corners of the grooves .Use it as a lender or a give-away. Sad story.
