I've had all the versions of his one hand knife and although they are all great knives the very first incarnation, Crawford's original version, the one Russell based his first version on was the best.

T is right, the original version w/o the funky scales is the best. I agree, if you believe in purity, buy one from the originator, Pat Crawford. He still makes 'em.
