I haven't been to that particular event, if it's a small show you can bring your stuff in a small case with a sign advertising what you got and what you want for it (and what you are looking for.) You'll probably see some with a signs on their hat or back, not bad if you enjoy hill folk, Tacky for those that don't. (Personally I LOVE them to death!)
If it's a big classy show (like the old 'Vegas Show) they wont allow you to do that, still they understand that most folks will go with trading in mind. If you are serious about selling or swapping, more than 1 day is good, but I rarely do. (The serious don't need to sleep on it.)
Some people aren't enthusiasts and they can get awful hard because they are only interested in a buck. You weed out the time-wasters, most are GREAT specially in that neck of the woods!
As a family we always felt the desire to support the Knife and Gun groups and always had a super time at the cook-outs and never passed them by. Then you get to talk knives/guns/horses/God, how can you beat that???
