Hey Folks,
I just got the late summer catalog today, so I don't even know if anyone has had a chance to play with this knife yet. If anyone has however, I'd love a review. What a good looking knife! I mean Really good looking! Reminds me of Al Mar's Shiva.
Be Well,

Thanks very much. Shoulda looked them up myself, but I'm a little off kilter today and didn't even think to.
Much Obliged,
Hop

I have one on the way. As per usual, I ordered from the catalog based on NO research but a "can't put the damn catalog down" infatuation just from the stupid picture of the knife in it.

I'll soon know how good it is.

I am "assuming" it's good as the only ones left are the combo edge as the plains and tantos are SOLD OUT.

:)

Yeah, I was a little bothered about that; having just finally
decided to lay down the hundred for the PE - was a little
on the fence because of the aluminium scales, but that
catalog picture grows on ya, dammit!!!

Aw, so what? It's such a "bitchin" looking knife that the serrations will only add to the visual impact.

Hey, I wonder if I cud get a job writin stuff up fer Russell.
:D

Seriously, I doubt that model IN ANY CONFIGURATION will be around much longer. What's a hunnert buxx?

Think of it as "admission" to the next biker convention.
:D

I'm in anticipation like crazy. And I ....HATE..... loominum handles. BUT.... if they got G-10 on the ..cold...part, why not?

VERY pleased. The finish is extraordinary. Weight in between the Endura lightweight and Endura wave.
The juncture of blade and backspring is almost invisible.
A bit thin bladed as mentioned in the reviews, but also a bit of an illusion as the swedge grind LOOKS thin until you hold the entire blade up to a light and see that it is indeed thicker than it looks.
I did have to spring the clip a bit to get it to turn loose of my pocket.
Here it is next to my 40 yr old Buck 110.

It's a great knife, I'm glad I got one before they started running out. I doubt if we'll see more made but you never know... I sent an e-mail to A.G. a year or so ago wondering if he would consider making a smaller version - I like this one but it would be cool to have a "buck 55" version of it too. He was on vacation at the time and I guess my e-mail slipped through the cracks. I'd like to see a smaller version in some other color than black and with classier inlays, like exotic wood instead of G-10. That is, anything but Chinese Quince Burl! :D

If ya don't get Chinese Quince Burl, ya gotta get Cocobolo. Or is Desert Ironwood the wood of the day?
:D
