It has been brought to my attention by a forum member (Thanks Blues, your points were well put and given in a well thought out and helpful manner, I appreciate the your input. ) that I appear to be uncertain or unclear as to the knifes history and that I may be placing too high a price on the knife, especially in light of what I paid for it. So, just to clear things up.
Condition :
The knife is basically a new knife. There are no scratches on the bolsters (maybe a minor handling mark or so) or the scales. There are no cracks in the scales. I have never sharpened the knife and I honestly believe that it has never been sharpened. There are no marks or scratches on the blade. The only reason I did not state new or as new is because I do not have the box and I am not the original owner and I can not honestly state that it has never cut anything or been handled by the previous owner. Since I can not state so with absolute certainty I will not say it. It is as nice as any new knife I have ever bought though. I did put a leather lanyard on it when I first got it but it has not marked it in any way. I would be happy to offer a buyer a reasonable return privilage if they do not find it to be as described.

Yes, I paid $50.00 for this knife two years ago and I posted here on the forums and on the other knife forum at the time about it and seeking info on the knife. I bought it because I felt then that it was undervalued and a bargain.
It does appear though that I may have overpriced this knife so rather than play games with daily small reductions I have edited my post and reduced the knife to what I think is reasonable
