After receiving my Sog Micron Tanto, I've got the sudden urge to get a quality key chain Knife. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this knife. Also if it has anyway to attach to a key chain, I couldn't tell from the picture on there website.

From what I've heard, the ultimate pen knife lacks a lanyard hole, but the 2.5 and 3.0 have one. I used to have one of those Ultimate pen knives with the mother-of-pearl handle scales, and it was a beautiful knife. Didn't really get much pocket time though, because it was so darn small that I would forget that it was even there. Neat little slipjoint.

Awesome because I jus ordered the black pearl one.

jnieporte (sp?) has a review of the 3.0 and the pen knife. He loved both of them. The pen knife is a bit too small for my liking, but the 3.0 is pretty neat. I will be getting one soon for my dad's birthday in the upcoming months. It was mentioned in the review of the 3.0 that the blade was sharper than than the CRK factory sharpening.

EDIT: You may already know, but the pen knife is a slipjoint, whereas the 2.5 and 3.0 are lockbacks.

The 2.0 does have a bail on it instead of the lanyard hole. I have the 2.0 and have gifted many 3.0s and carry a 3.0 daily.

Both are great knives, and amazing values. The 3.0, properly sharpened, is one of the sharpest knives I've owned.
