The new One-Handed Knife from A. G. Russell looks great. The new blade shape really sets this knife apart from the old one. Plus, choose ZDP-189 or CPM-154 steel. The price is Salt but I bet these folders will be popular. Thanks.

If you have the new one and the original, how do they compare in quality. I have two of the originals, and I like them very much, but with more modern manufacuring methods, the blades could have less play. Any thoughts or comments?

My first OHK, I gave to a dear friend. That folder was perfect! I must get a New OHK, just to inspect it, but like you stated, I'm sure these folders will be first-rate! Micarta handle slabs for me. Thanks!

Hardheart---Thanks for the pic! I must learn my compuuter skillz!
The handle slabs really look good on that folder! Anyone got a pic with the slabs? :)

Carried the original for years then went to a different knife for a better steel. When I saw the new ones in CPM154 I bought one immediately !! Quality is just like the original but I think CPM154 is one of the best blade steels !

Look cool, $275 & $350.

I think the only thing this design is missing, and the one thing keeping me from buying one, is the lack of a pocket clip. Otherwise, it's a great looking knife.

The orginals were by Pat Crawford. Old friend of ours. Don't know if he still makes them.

oops' didn't see the post above. My bad.
So that's two for Pat, and his son Wess.

Lycosa, Scales ? no just the plain version. That way I can engrave it !

GB---There is a pic of the Tanto on Pat's Web-site! It's lean and mean. Go take a lookie.
mete---When you are done with the engraving---pic! :)

Here are three OHks. Top -new CPM154, middle old never used , bottom old used ,engraved. The polar bear [Viking raven on reverse] is simple because of my skill level and especially the hardness of the steel !

Just how do you unlock those knives anyway? Do you lift up on the lockbar with your thumb?
