I am doing a book on handmade knives in the last century. I need photos of knives made in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, before and after. knives of makers like Pete Callan, Norman Dew, etc.

Boss, you might try posting this in the Bernard Levine's Collector Forum.
 
Shoot Bernard an email and ask I suppose.

You're a known quantity in the knife world. I would bet that the collectors who hang out there would jump at the chance to show off for you.
 
Might try over in Traditional also, some of those old coots go way back. Oh wait, I'm one of those old coots.:)
 
I'd try the Randall forum also. Oh, I know, the Guild doesn't consider Randalls "hand-made" (though I happen to disagree with that assessment), but a lot of us have some interesting knives that aren't Randalls also (Scagels, Ruandas, etc.)
