A GEC Factory Tour!

I watched from the start to the finish. Absolutely fascinating. I have whole new respect for what goes into making a slip joint. Thanks so much for posting this, rma100.

I emailed this link to some of my friends Thomason, and my exact words were "this is fascinating to me"..I concur with you .

Many thanks for this link, the video is exceptional!

I was aware that Traditionals are intricate but even so, the processes and skills required to put it altogether are impressively varied, time consuming too.

It's sobering to know all my GECs have been through this, makes them even more remarkable value.

Regards, Will

Wonderful videos!!
It's amazing to watch people with such talent in their hands. And Eyes!!

Thanks so much for sharing this link. This was my first exposure to how a knife is made. This is about as close to "handmade" as it gets.

Thanks for sharing the link I just watched all three parts of the tour. :) Even had some TC's in there at the end! lol

I learned heaps. I have watched a Case factory program before and it is very different.

Seeing the Charlow at the end made me smile.

Great video, its fun to see how they are made. Lots of cool machines and a pleasure to watch Mr. Howard put his skilled hands on a few processes  Thanks for the link Bob :)
