Just as the title says "A Gem from a Gem" The true "Gem" is Duncan . This is well over due people so my apologizes to Duncan himself.
I would've posted sooner but somehow in the hectic holiday season the camera was mysteriously misplaced
.
Duncan and I did a trade a while back. Upon Duncan's generous persistence Duncan insisted that if I were to part with my Spear two blade Gabon Ebony Charlow that he send me his beloved Harness Jack of Charlies creation. I honestly refused to the point where Duncan would hear of nothing less than a trade.
No joking but it's hard to say no to Duncan
. He had lost his EDC Single blade Ebony Spear and all I wanted to do was send him my two blade version to soften the sting of losing a knife that's near and dear to you. Soooooo, Duncan so graciously appreciates the offer he INSISTS that I choose either the Bone or Ebony Harness Jack.
This is a TRUE BEAUTY!!! I have carried it almost daily since it's arrival--mostly after a days work and relaxing around the house. I gave in with the thought that someday this "Gem" may end up back with Duncan. The reason behind that thinking is that one day I told my wife and son's that if I pass to box up my knife collection and send it to Duncan. They seriously would not know what to do with it or even appreciate the value it possesses. Although I have no plans for checking out anytime soon
I think I have another 25 to 30 years in my yet
Thank you Duncan...
To me this knife is simply PRICELESS. Okay, now for the pictures.....
