I would first like to apologize to Gene Ingram for not writing this review before now. As some of you know (not enough of you I’m sure), Gene makes one hell of a knife! His grinds are straight and even, and for what he charges on his knives you almost have to feel like you’re getting away with something. I’ve gotten four knives from Gene, including two of his pocketknives one in D2 that I received almost two years ago- which has been used extensively and STILL is close to shaving sharp- and one in 440C that I got for my wife which is still going strong as well. Gene is also able to really work with the customer who’s looking for a custom design and make their ideas into a workable solution which will make your dream knife truly a dream to own! I worked with Gene on two keychain knives, which now go with me everywhere, everyday. The knives arrived with the sharpest edge I’ve ever seen, and have remained as sharp as straight razors, with only one stropping between the two of them. Gene is also is VERY good at making his sheaths work in a simple, yet elegant way. I cannot recommend Gene’s work highly enough, and will continue to do business with him as long as I am able! Great work Gene!

Sincerely,
Anthony

I'll echo Anthony's post.

I have a half dozen of Ingram's knives and the collection is growing. Everyone I've loaned them to has been as impressed as I am and most of those guys have probably skinned more animals than I've eaten peas.

I have two of his customs and both are made as good as any custom I've ever owned! His blades come razor sharp and his fit & finish is excellent. HIs sheaths are very well made. The sheath that he made for my camp light custom is one of the best made sheaths I've ever seen!
You just have to see his work to believe it!!

Gene's knives are hard to beat for the price.I have two of his fixed blades and hope to obtain more as finances allow.

Another satisfied customer here....both my son and I have fixed blades from Gene. He went out of his way to help me.

His blades WILL cut too, I just used his 0-1 blade to cut some weeds & small saplings.
You just can't go wrong with his customs.

I gave a small Ingram to my brother in law 2 years ago for Christmas. He skinned 3 deer with it and it would still shave hair when he was done. It's a GREAT knife. I'd love something larger for ME. :)
