A general question about the - " For Sale: Custom Knives (Individual)" sub forum

Probably has been asked before but - is there any chance of breaking this sub-forum into 2 so that there would be a

1) "custom fixed blades" (individuals)

2) "custom folders" (individuals)

This (like most of the sale threads) generate a lot of posts. One can get bumped off of page one in a matter of 1/2 a day. With no recourse to bump posts (I take no issue with that good policy) having 2 sub-forums for individual sales would help slow the push down the page rate and make selling more viable.

I hope that the BF admin team will consider this an idea worth incorporating.

If you look in the KnifeMaker's Market: Knives & More for Sale, you can see separate forums For Sale: Folders and For Sale: Fixed Blades, so your idea is not a bad one at all.

It is entirely up to Spark to decide, but I like the idea myself.

For the mean time, use the sig space you have. This will allow your items to appear in every post you've ever made. I'm not against the idea either, but most people search and can find what they are looking for. It's hard enough to determine what constitutes a custom vs a mid-tech to being with for many people.

Yup - doing that already with the sig line. I was inspired by the fact that individual sale of "production knives" are separated into fixed blade and folders sub-forums.
