I'm looking for some recommendations here. I First off, I'm a huge Spyderco fan, but I'm open to anything. Here's my criteria: blade length MUST be under 3 1/8th inch. High level of comfort, beautiful to behold, but uncompromising on utility. Must be able to perform and excel in less-than-perfect conditions for a long, long time. I'm open to all lock types, but preferably something easy to work with gloves. High corrosion resistance and excellent edge holding. Strong lock.
My budget is right around 150. Not much more, less is great. Hit me up.

the spyderco sage series (1-4)

I would suggest a Benchmade 746 or a 707. There are lots of Spydercos but I figured those would be different and everyone needs an AXIS lock.

I find that the spyderhole paired with a compression lock is the easiest to deploy and close if you need to work with gloves on. +1 on the Chaparral.
