Hello All,

I have been around for a while in terms of years and knife collecting, using, and safe queening. I had (1) knife in my pocket every day for who knows how long. I have cheapo's, all the way up to CRK's. But my post today is about my absolute favorite blade to ever ride along with me in my pocket. Of Course this is my opinion, but I am curious if anyone else has ever felt the same about a single perfect passenger in the pocket? Please share..... and why so!

Here is a knife I never knew about at the time of its release. I have one in the pocket, and another ready to go if needed. Its the Benchamade 960 in the red configuration. Why is it my favorite passenger? Well, "1st its it size", not too big or not too thick, it is a fine quality piece to do whatever the average daily task might bring, many days nothing. "2nd" would be its style, the Osborne design for me is sick, very classy that would be right at home camping as well as a wedding or dinner party. "3rd" It is not a knife that anyone could mistake as a threat, What I mean is it is classy, small, and tastefully designed. Lastly, " Its weight" at 2.25 oz, where is it? Not an issue to reach down in deep in the same carry pocket as the knife and hardly notice its there....

Lets hear about your favorite passenger

The 960 is the first knife I really took note of when I got into this addiction, and was looking for my first "real" knife. I just never found one at a price point where I was willing to pull the trigger. So of course my first knife wound up being the 940.

As of right now my most pocket friendly would probably be the Ritter Mini Grip. I prefer it by a hair over the 940 and DragonflyII. Those are what I like to call my gym shorts knives.

I have always wanted to get ahold of one of these... They just seem like they Want to perform.

This is Fantastic news! I Love the 940 and I have an M4 Ritter mini sitting in my mailbox as we speak, it is going to be a Long drive home from work.
I hope I take to the Ritter Mini as much as you have (Sorry for the derail).

I typically carry a Lone Wolf Diablo Snakewood d/a when playing dress up. Sometimes I'll have the Fallkniven Juni around my neck instead. Both are beautiful knives and don't create much of a hoopla if seen by any of the fearful masses. They both have such a small footprint that they are typically not even noticed, even while being used.

The 960 is the knife that set it off for me too. Easily one of my all time favorite Benchmades. Mine was polished aluminum with a pearl looking inlay and the purple back spacer. She ran with me for at least three years until I lost her. I still miss that knife.
