This BUSH STYLE BLADE is made of 01 TOOL STEEL bar stock. The Each Von Hagen knife blade has been Rockwell Hardness Tested and has been tempered and bench tested to assure the perfect hardness -- not too hard as to chip but not too soft as not to be able to hold an edge. The FULL TAPERED TANG knife has a CONVEX GRIND blade. The BANKSIA HANDLE with BLACK VULCANIZED SPACERS has no external pins to distract from the awesome pattern. There is just a hint of gold in the handle to made it most unique.
