Wildlife hatchet is the model.

A bit dull right out of the sheath but good geometry and symmetrical. It’ll sharpen up just fine.

I was very surprised. In fact I was speechless.

This is my first experience with their products, but I am not disappointed at all. The quality is much greater than anything else I’ve experienced.

I sharpened it with a soft Arkansas stone and it took maybe ten minutes to bring it up. And then stropped. It has a razors edge now!

I do both. He said he doesn’t normally give gifts.

But when he does, he does it right.

The fact it was a gift makes it all the much better.

Me and the boy went for a little walk and came back with a dead poplar limb. We had fun chopping it up then enjoyed the spoils of our labor. Something about it, speaks to the soul.
