In the last snark thread, I inquired about clear kydex. I was told that Tankerwolf has made a few sheaths in clear kydex and to talk to him. I have been wanting one for my bk14. It has Kryptoglow scales on it and the only sheath that fits it is a leather pocket sheath I made for it that covers more than 2/3 of the scales. With so much covered, very little glows when removed from the sheath. I contacted Tankerwolf to get his thoughts and he told me he had enough scrap laying around that He corks whip one up for me. A few days later I get a package in the mail from him. There was a sheath, some chicago screws and a piece of kydex for a belt loop, an awesome BK&T sticker and some freehanded drawings of design ideas for the belt loop (way way better than I could have drawn).....The sheath fit quite well considering that He didnt have the custom scales in his posession and used the factory zytel handles to make the sheath. All it took to make it perfect was a little heat from my heat gun and a rag to form it around the.handle..Now it fits like a glove. Here is how it turned out.....

It's ready for the rave now. That turned out pretty nice, good job. Tanker is a good guy, quiet though...

Fantastic kit there. And nice story about an obviously generous and talented member here.

I dig it!

Those handles are pretty cool looking. I do like Dan's stuff. I'm glad you like the sheath and I'm glad I had the opportunity and the means to help you out.
That last picture gave me some ideas for a project I might try with my 11. Hmmmm.

And thank you all for the comments. Good group of peeps here.
