A gift from my Grandfather

Back in the mid-70's, when I was a sprout. It was old when it was given to me.
Home made with a bone handle. The only marking is on the large blade: Made in Japan.

The entire knife is only 2" folded.

Not home made, but a factory manufactured scout-style knife, from Japan's early post-war years.
Their manufacturing had to restart somewhere. They got better in a hurry.
I had an almost identical knife to yours when I was a teenager.
