Hi All,

This is my first post (although my wife did post already on this account) and I am happy to finally be able to post on the Busse Sub Forum.
I got home today at about 6am after being away for 14 months. I was able to spend some much needed time with my wife and daughter who I missed very much. I decided to take a much needed nap while the wife went out to do some groceries and was woken up by someone pounding on there door.
I looked out the window and saw the mail man and for a minute, I thought he was here to take care of more than the mail..(I have been away for a while LOL).
To my surprise he was delivering a new to me Busse ASH1 my wife purchased on the Exchange which she was going to surprise me with tomorrow. I immediately taped the box up after running around the house like Ralphy and his Red Ryder BB Gun, and placed it by the door as if nothing happened.
When she walked in, she knew I saw it because I just could not hide the smile on my face. I reopened the box and I have not been able to put this thing down since.

Seriously, thanks for warm welcome! I don't know much about knives, but if anyone needs info on 1911's, AR's & SBR's, Glock's..I can help.:cool:
 
The ASH1 is my favorite model Busse!

I read her post and thought it was awesome how she talked to my brother for help on where to get the knife. I guess she does pay attention when I talk. It had been about a year since I told he about the knife and how I wanted one.

I can't help but jump in on this one. WELCOME HOME Bro!!! Enjoy the ASH-1, but more important enjoy your family. It's obvious they love you.
 
Great story. Wish my wife would surprise me with a new piece of infi. I still have to convince her that my first one is not evil. She is ok with the other three, but really holds a grudge against my FBMLE because she did not want me to trade for it (that trade involved a AR- pistol for two knives, and she was sure I would get burned, and also was miffed that she had no chance to shoot the hand blaster before it went away).


Glad the mailman was delivering the good kind of package.
