Spent Sunday with a VN Vet Brother, his wife and adult kids, watching the football games. I'm not a VN Vet, but I know, (and love), many. They're "salt of the earth", folks, for sure! May God Bless Them many times over.

Ron said (before the games started), that knowing I was a "knife guy", he had found something (buried in a box of his stuff), that he thought I'd like. He then pulled these out, handed the sheathed knives to me and said, "They're yours". I was in shock for a minute! What a great gift!

The svelte 102 looks like it has had very, very light use. The beefy little 103 is pristine! Both were Buck field quality sharp and appear to have never been touched by a stone. The sheath needs a small bit of TLC, but is in EX condition overall.

This is a very cool, double set of vintage Buck knives that were gifted to me by a true friend!

Sorry about the pic quality. Kind of tough shooting high contrast stuff with a point and shoot camera.

Very nice! That's known as a Buck Twinset or mabe a Trophy Set. Not sure when they stopped making them but it's been a while. IIRC they all had the 103 skinner but the other knife was varied between the 102, 104 and maybe some others.
