A girl with a knife!

Any of you guys hear about this deal with pop singer Katy Perry. She sings a song that is popular now called I kissed a girl.:D Well aparently a whole bunch of fruity sheeple are all sorts of upset.:grumpy: All because this pop singer had her picture taken with a knife in her hand. :eek:Never mind the girl on girl song. But a pic of her with a knife is, according to some, very wrong. Do a search for (knife Perry) and instead of John Perry the knife maker you will get mostly links to people talking about this pic. Some people seem to think that kids are going to all start stabbing each other because of this pic.:jerkit:

Wow... I checked it out. That's nuts. I think she's plenty attractive and her tunes are catchy. Interesting that a picture that didn't even make it past the editing room is being blasted while her lyrics about kissing girls and stuff like, "Yea you PMS like a bitch I would know" are not worth mention.

I feel bad for the guy who lost his child, but to blame it all on knives and not the person that stabbed his child is ridiculous.

If a person loses a child because someone bludgeons their child with a golf club should they proclaim golf clubs as evil and that anyone pictured with one is a horrible murderous thug?

Hammers have been used in quite a few attacks.... maybe we should outlaw those awful weapons! Don't get your picture taken with a hammer!!! :eek:

Pretty soon Britian will have to ban sporks and don't forget chop sticks!!!

Here's a quote from the father from the articles. I read 6 different versions, and some say he lost his 10 year old son, some say his 11 year old daughter.... Good 'ol media coverage. :rolleyes:

I'm not going to waste bandwith railing against crap in Britain.

Katy Perry used to be a Christian artist though.... guess spiritual rewards weren't enough. :(
 
Think a year or so ago I heard that child deaths in the US were greater for drowning in swimming pools than for guns. Ban swimming pools? or at least put the owner in federal
prison for having one.

Next thing you know they're going to start blaming guns for homicides, or better yet pencils for bad spelling.
