Got done work early today, the weather was 75 and sunny, low humidity, took the dogs for a walk and started my camp site. Doesn't get much better ...

Small steam at the back of our property ... gonna' park my butt right there (LOL)

Here's a Pair that will beat a Full House (and get you through the night)

Like I said ... A good day. Thought I'd share.

Very nice pics.
Looks like a good spot from here.
Well thought out set of tools.

Thanks ya'll ... hate to sound so corny, but really was a great day.

Perfect weather (perfect) couple cold ones, trapesing through the woods with the dogs.

Jim Crochee said it best, "if I could save time in a bottle"

Looks like a hell of a good time. Is that a Gobspark firesteel? How do they work. Nice photos, and thanks for sharing.

Wow, this is nice. I like that "a pair that will beat a Full House" thingie. That's what I think about my BK9 and BK14. Small blade, big blade. Pack a saw, you've got everything you need to sustain yourself (Well, that doesn't really cover food, but in hands more capable than mine, I bet the BK9 is pretty much suited for killing wild hogs).

Great pictures of a great day! Thank you very much.

take care

Awesome, looks like a great spot for a campsite. Your dogs are going to love playing in that creek.

I love those nature pic's, kinda sets the stage for the knife pic's to follow. Sorta like lube, sorta.

How you like the Husqvarna? I haven't had a chance to get mine any action yet, but it feels sooo good in the hand.

Thanks again everyone. Really is a great spot. Other than an olympic size pool and the swedish bikini team, doesn't need a thing. (LOL)

Weather hasn't been co-operating. Ya'll prob. heard about the tornados came up this way recently. Luckily all we got was high winds and tons of rain.

100 miles south of us, took it on the chin though.

Like the Husky hatchet. Just what I was looking for, small, light weight and good chopper.
But the best thing I've picked up lately has been that $12 Bow Saw. Cleared that whole site with it.

Hatchet and the 9 will come in handy next, for making the shelter and some seating.

More to come.
