im new at this knife buisness i recently got into it as a hobby, and just purchased a kershaw skyline online as a starter?

Id like some reccomendations on a 2-3 blade EDC , one good folder utility/tactical, and one fixed good utility/tactical blade,
and maybe a special blade (kukri, machetes, tomahawks, etc. )

I've looked into a couple combonations , one combo being Ka-Bar full size serrated Kraton G usmc fixed fighting knife, with a cold steel recon 1 plain tanto

or maybe a kukri combat knife (Ka-Bar) and an ak-47 (cold steel)

The CRKT Minimalist seems like a nice fixed blade, I'm planning on getting one. I carry a Victorinox Tinker along with a Spyderco tenacious.

Price range is pretty important. I'd also recommend getting something in a size range that you'll actually carry for the fixed blade. Personally, I'd go with either a CS AK-47 or a waved Spyderco Endura for your folder and something along the lines of an ESEE 4 or Condor Garuda for a fixed blade. Your third blade really depends on whether or not you plan to spend time camping, where you live and a few other factors. I would lean towards a machete, maybe a Tramontina or Condor, just because they're darn versatile tools. You can use them as draw knives, choppers or to clear brush and they come in handy doing yard work even if you're not a real outdoorsy type.

Standard disclaimer: Pay very close attention to your local knife laws. In many localities carrying a concealed fixed blade is illegal, so keep that in mind.
