I miss hunting pheasants. I grew up in Nebraska and would hunt pheasants every fall. My buddy had a brittany spaniel and it was a great dog.

Nice work Manix! Did you dress the birds with your Busse?
I dressed a wild turkey this past spring with my ASH1 LE and it worked great, the large wide blade carved the breast right off of the breast plate much easier than smaller baldes that I have used in the past.

I put the sfno in the pic for looks lol....to be honest I only need poultry shears when dressing pheasant, i actually have a trick to step on their wings and pull by the legs, I basicall rip the pheasant apart by hand and clip off the legs and wings, ;)

So far I have had pheasant a few ways this season.
My girlfriend makes home made stuffing with cranberries and stuffs the breasts on the bone, oven roasts them with potatoes, carrots and onions.

A crockpot BBQ recipe with bacon

And my favoorite is pan fry boneless skinless pheasant breasts in real butter, salt, pepper and paprika right in the butter pan and you are good to go!
