I have several knives that belonged to my father in law, this one is a used but not bad 895 (or is it 695?), the sheepsfoot was worn at the tip and reshaped.

I just made the scan and wanted to post in that thread with pictures of nice old Schrades but could not find it, so here's a new thread....

It is a shame that they were discontinued. Many, if not most of the OT and UH line have their roots in them. But the faux bone handles are nice to look at, and feel good in the hand.

Nice knife Don Luis. I have two from that era, and one of them could have a replacement blade, but I don't think so. The first is my 787 Improved Muskrat, and the second is an 897UH, though not a signature. Several similar patterns were made though, is why I say the 897 could have a replacement master blade. It's shield has the script "Stainless".
