What can be better?? A gift from a friend, and a rare knife!!!
mrknife
is becoming a great silversmith as well as being a great friend!! Behold his first set stone!!
Turquoise is my favorite gemstone, as you all may have noticed!!!Serendipitously this ring resembles closely a ring my mother gave me in my late teens, (60 years ago!!) and I carelessly lost a couple years later!!
I had a "moment" when I opened the package, I'll tell you!!!!
Thanks Jack!! It fits perfectly!!
And thanks for the silver coins, objects of the past!!
To fulfill the knife content, I included I included this Stockyard whittler, from Roy at Amercan Whittler! He didn't want to sell it, labelling it "too ugly", and a cosmetic "second"!!
I disagreed!!
I am calling it my Wild Whittler!! Smooth bone, pretty wild looking!!
