Hi!

.....after you got your first you'll be caught.
You will try to get every model made to date, you will try to read all there is 'bout Mr.Emerson's knives, you will spend a lot of time on the internet looking at pictures of His knives and asking questions concerning His knives, you will talk of His knives, you will dream about His knives and you will also use His knives and then be even more fanatical...

Ernest Emerson, god of knife design? he really get it every time, just think about the CQC6, the CQC7, "Rhino", CQC8, the wave, dudes, is he from mars??

In the end you'll be broke but happy and a lot of knives around you...

Ok, a bit too much perhaps, but i do dig His knives A LOT

My knives!

My commitmen not to buy from re-sellers keeps me from having your problem. I have one CQC-6 which I waited for 5 years and a ESM-1 on order for which I will probably wait five years. The limited supply of Emerson customs cranks up the price and the makers see that increase and when they attend shows they charge what the market will bear. From 30 years of knife collecting, I have learned to place my orders with the makers and wait. I am then rewarded with a knife at "reasonable " cost.
