I recently ordered a couple of the schrade sw7 switch it lock back knives from smkw. It was mainly because I like my work knives to have a pocket clip and it was one of the few usa made schrades smkw still offered. The book says retail value was $34.99 and they had them for $11.99. I was just glad to find a usa schrade with a pocket clip. But when they came in the mail they had the final production run certificate of authenticity with them both, and I was rather impressed with the knife. The reversible pocket clip ,thumb studd. Granted its probablly not going to be the most collectible knife ever, but for an everyday user I think its a great knife. Anybody else pick one of these up? I'd have to say for the money and the quality I would recommend the sw7 especially if you like the pocket clip style. joel

I have wanted to get one of those but there is just so many knives out there I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Definitely a modern design for EDC. Simple, rugged but with the right features. Many Schradeaholics seem to prefer the more traditional styles. I do too. But I do feel there is a place for the more modern styles as well.
