A good week for traditionals.

Well, due to some surprising shipping times, I've been inundated with traditionals this week. It's a good problem to have. :) I've just about got everything knocked off my list, with just a couple left. I'm glad about that, since I'm going to be on a long hiatus from knife shopping once the baby comes!

Here's what has arrived this week:

Oops, forgot one. This one showed up too:

Top to bottom we have:
Aitor Castor Pequeya
Northfield 23 Bull Lock in yellow bone
GEC Farm and Field tool in Nifebrite acrylic
Northfield 68 White Owl in stag with bail (one of my grail knives!)
Antonini Pattadese in buffalo horn (this is the sharpest out of the box knife I've ever received)

and in the bottom picture is my Tidioute 15 clip point in smooth ivory bone.

Whew! All that, and we leave tomorrow morning for the Queen collectors show, followed the next day by the GEC Rendezvous. I'm going to need another knife roll... Good thing we're going to have another knife nut in the family in a few months. :D

Thanks for looking!

Wow, you've had a good week Dan!

Great stuff! That owl is a beauty. I tried to get all the knife shopping done before my little girl came....... I failed! I convinced myself I had to buy a couple to commemorate her birth and what not.

Congratulations again on the baby!

Very nice! I'm really liking that one at the top the Aitor Castor Pequeya. I'm going to look into that one as I love the blade shape & handle on that knife. The blade shape looks a lot like a Spyderco.

Thanks everyone!

jk- the Aitor is indeed a lot of knife for the money. It takes a great edge, resharpens easily, and is very very comfortable to use. I love my US made knives, but it's hard to argue with an Aitor or resolza (or resolza clone, in my case)!

Wow, what a haul!

You have some great taste sir.

Hope they all get a good look in.
