A grail of mine popped up and I tried to sell my hinderer...

And then I realized I couldn't sell it since I'd miss it too much. So instead I dressed it with a carbon fiber scale

Yes wise choice. Great way to avoid sellers remorse. Thats one of the many nice things about hinderers is when you get bored you can change its clothes. I sold a xm-24 (which was my first hinderer) a while ago and have been kicking myself ever since. I got another 24 a few months later but there's nothing like your first.

I've had a lot of them go through my hands. Can't seem to sell that first one though for that same reason. It was the first and even though it's just a production with some bronze anodizing, it's just a keeper in my collection because it was the one that got me started :D

I share the same sentiment. I still have ALL my Hinderers but, remember each individually as to how/when they came to me.
Funny how that works. :)

My first Hinderer was a custom recurve...kicking myself for letting that one go...but I ended up with a spanto 3.5 and a 24 spanto from the deal...I traded the 3.5 spanto away and was lucky enough to win the lottery here and get a Wharnie...soooo I'm keeping all my Hinderers from here on out...

I also had to part with a couple of duplicates that I could not past up, to trade up however it is like giving up family, no more.

Oof! On my grail list (especially if SB/BB/WF or DLC)... I think I can use my wharnie to remove a kidney..

It'll take desperate times for me to part with any of mine. Unless a decent trade deal comes along.

Unlike the handful I just posted for sale (to help fund more XMs...)..
