My girlfriend feels my folder knife collectinng hobby is fascinating and is so supportive that she bought me my dream folder, a Chris Reeves Umnumzaan that will arrive tomorrow. She bought it for me as symbolic of our healthy and supportive, great mutual friendship. What a nice lady!

I am excited To experience the quality and craftmanship of my new Umnumzaan, which will arrive tomorrow. I just wanted to share my excitement and graditude with all if you!:)

Thats a good lady you have there! My GF has ordered me a few knives too and she has managed to pick out great ones (BK-9, Police3, and BM 710).

wow thats some lady you got there. Mine doesn't understand why I collect them, though she "supports" it.

Cool girlfriend! I hope you're as supportive of her hobbies as she is yours.

.... all my past g/f's failed to see the point behind my fetishes, any of them.. mostly the knives and cars and motorcycles... but I have NEVER had one buy me something that fit into any of my hobbies... (probably because they would have gotten it wrong anyways lol)

sounds like a keeper man!

Sounds like a nice girl. I will never forget when my wife (girlfriend back then) and I took a road trip and stopped at a gunshop. I started fondling a Russian M44 and she asked me if I liked it and then she said for me to go out and wait for her. I waited a while and out she came with my new M44. Best shooting gun I ever owned.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on everyone. Women just don't do this out of the kindness of their heart. They are like the mafia - be prepared to pay a pound of flesh for their "kindness."

jdeangelis, I recommend that you pay close attention to what she talks about off-hand. It's extremely likely that she wants something expensive/rare in return. It could be jewelry or a trip somewhere. Keep your ears open. ;)

Beat me to it. You know she has her eye on a piece of jewerly.

There's a guy I know on another forum, his wife get's new shoes, he get a new knife.

Keep your ears open for hints about shoes/jewelry/engagement ring/bedding set etc.

My wife wanted to surprise me so much she overpaid for a knife for me, I love that knife.

I don't have to worry about any of this underhanded gift giving.
My GF dislikes knives and doesn't understand my knife collecting.

Boy I feel sorry for you guys :)

You just wait buddy. There ain't no free lunch! :D
Just kidding. Congratulations on your new knife.

That's an extremely rare find for sure, definitely a keeper.

Most spend all of your money and complain when you want something for yourself. They have your check spent before you get it. ;)

I would rather be single than broke. LOL :D

My wife is very supportive of my collecting knives. My other 'addiction' is filling the gun safes back in the den.

She says that knives, as opposed to guns, don't need trips to the gun smith, don't require ammo, and cost less to start with. :D

There's always a trade off...

Logically speaking...

There is always a catch

She bought you a nice blade, Therefore, she must be:
a)ugly
b)fat
c)both a & b
d)was once a man
e)all of the above

Just kidding man, wish i got more free knives
