A Great Knife Enthusiast moment in final scene of NCIS's episode this week

I was impressed that their writers would set up the scene this way: Gibbs was peeling potatoes at Bishop's mother's kitchen. The mother notices Gibbs is using what must be his edc. The mother says, "We have a peeler for that." Gibbs looks at her with a smile and continues peeling with his knife.

Then Bishop comes in. Dialogues with Gibbs. And as a wrap up, she pulls out her own edc, flicks it open and starts helping to peel potatoes.

Did anybody else see the scene? I thought it captured the essence of knife enthusiasts and, it seems to me, the scene supported how knives and a common appreciation for them can bring people together. If you saw the scene, how did you feel watching the scene unfold?

I'd like to know what specific models the knives were. His looks like a ZT.

Bishop is carrying some sort of out the front. Can't get a great look at it, probably not a microtech..

In the last episode I saw Bishop use a knife, it looked like a Benchmade Infidel. Don't know if she keeps the knife, but I did see that within the last few weeks. I do love how a handful of shows use nice knives, especially because I can identify them!

Just was watching Better Call Saul where the Mex dudes in the desert breaks the skateboarder's legs.
There was a very big knife a folder. Prolly custom.

Bishop is not using the Benchmade infidel. The infidel is a fixed blade not an “out the front” or switchblade. She has either the Benchmade pagan or another stilleto styled assisted opening blade.

I'm still confused.... the Infidel is, in fact, an OTF. Did I miss something?
It's both. It has been an OTF for years now and they just released a fixed blade version.

You're wrong and you necro'd a thread...
