A great little box cutting EDC...

I just bought a CRK&T Edgie...what a great knife for box cutting which I do all the time at work. The sharp sharp edge every time I open it is really nice. It is a nice little knife for the money...wish it was US made...but it is pretty innovative and does the job well...best 20 bucks I have spent in a while. Anyone else out there have one of these??

How does the self-sharpening works?

There is an abrasive in the handle which the edge contacts when it is open/closed.

To quote from the brochure that came with the knife, "The Edgie hones its edge with a 400 grit diamond-coated strip inside the handle each time the blade is opened and closed." I am really impressed with this knife, it is indeed razor sharp every time you use it...and I have already cut tons of stuff with it...my usual carries would have needed an edge put back on them by now. I am not saying it is the "best knife" out there by any means...but for a dependable work knife...it sure seems like it is well worth the money.
