Don't know if y'all have seen this yet, but I saw this on Jezebel this morning. An Air Force National Guard band that's deployed to Southwest Asia has had a Youtube video go viral. A Washington Post blog tells some of the story so far.

Sgt. Johnson is really something. She could quit her day job and be a star.

The accompanists are competent. The drummer is good.

The cameraman seems to have the D.T.s.:disturbed:

She is pretty amazing. Seems like this could be her big break. They're all weekend warriors that are the first NG band deployed overseas into combat zones, ever.
Apparently the band does these impromptu gigs throughout their deployment (chow lines, Sunday church services, etc.). The video is from a USAF EM (I'm guessing) who's not a pro, but just a fan.

Thanks for the post. God bless those young folks.
