A great weekend doing what I love, with the ones I love!!!!

My kids, girlfriend, and myself, spent the whole weekend tromping through the bush. W left out on friday evening after school, and spent till saturday night in Natural Bridge State Park. On sunday, we walked the perimeter of my property and spent the whole day just relaxingin the woods.

Friday, 3.5 miles:

Saturday, 8.5 miles:

Sunday, just 2 miles or so, but it took about 9 hours with all the festivities lol.

Man, thats my back yard!! I literally live 20 minutes from the park. Were there almost every weekend hiking the trails, and occasionally go in the evenings through the week.
If you make it back down here, give me a yell, I'll take you on a couple really beautiful treks.

Looks like an excellent time man! I'm in no way in a hurry for my 2 yr old to grow up, but I can't wait for her to accompany me into the sticks.
 
Looks like a great time! The boys had a blast playing with knives and fire, I'm sure. :)
 
Thanks guys. I'm a very lucky guy to have grown up in this area. I'm even luckier that my dad passed on a love and passion for the outdoors. Now I feel its my duty to pass it on to my sons in the same way. Thanks again folks!!

Lol, it woulda been close to impossible to catch me all weekend. You need to grab bub up and hit the trail with us soon. I had Bray whittling with my 15 on sunday, of course my hand never left the grip lol. Those 2 would have a blast around the camp fire together!!!!
