Yesterday my winning from the from the first challenge showed up, a BK9 and a BK11 due to late shipping. Thanks Mr. Becker!

I took them both out by the river to mess around some but cut it short due to a storm rolling in.

I did a not perfect cordwarp on my 11 and added some spacers to the 9 to beef up the grip since I am use to my BK2 handle.

I plan on stripping them both and getting some stainless hardware for the bk9 to make it look like my bk2.

Yeah im going to mod the BK9 handle to match my BK2.

I want to make some custom scales for the 11 but I have never done a project like that... I guess its never to late to learn.

Seems like alot of people Becker Line up consists of the BK9, BK2, and BK11. It just must be the winning combo :D

I'm diggin the stippling on your BK2

Yeah its a pretty good combo... I think the next one for me will be a tac-tool that will live in the Jeep.

very nice! i'm going to put micarta spacers on my bk-9 as well when we get the next beckerhead discount thing going and order micarta scales for it. the bk-2's handle thickness just feels perfect with my hand.

Wider- Gotta ask man, how did you do the jimping on the bk2 handle?

I think you mean the stippling, and if I am correct in my guess, he prolly used a soldering iron tip. Been wanting to try it myself, but I also want to try the dimpling with a drill as well. Choices choices...

Yeah man I just poked it with the soldering iron and at first I was a little bummed cause it would grab on clothing cause it was so rough but have using the knife some with work gloves on they smoothed down some, I also heard a light sanding after it can take some of the burs off.
