A "gun show" knife that has been good to me

I have a small folder with bladk rubber like grips and a partially serrated stainless blade. It used to have a small plastic tab to use for one hand opening, but that came off after a few weeks. I replaced it with a small bolt and nuts.

The rest of the knife has been a real good un... especially when you consider I paid a little more than four bucks for it including taxes. I've had it carried it just about daily for about four years and it still locks tight when opened.

The knife was made by Carolina Knife and Tool Company. Anybody know anything about the company?

Probably mistaken, but I think the company is the budget line for Gerber.

I know it was mentioned sometime in the past on the forum as the budget line for one of the bigger companies. You see them a Walmart alot.
