A hande made knife

Unfortunately, I forgot to take the pic of the other side which shows the makes name. And I forgot to open this beauty completely when I took the pic. What do you think? I know not a sword but everything handmae and made by the legendary Knifemake of Iran.

I love the file work on the spine of the knife. Sometimes its the attention to the little things that show the true skill of a master.
 
Those guys do good work and you're right about the file work on the back -- going the extra mile.
 
The use of the multiple minifullers is pretty neat and stylish. Can they be used to open it with one hand? And the restrained file work is very nice too.

Would this be an unusual knife in Iran?

Yes you can open it with one hand. No it is not unusual. Many people carry some sort of these! I mean by many I mean knife lovers! :)
