A handle material question.

What is Fibermascus? I see that Bark River uses it for handles. Is it as tough as G-10, or Micarta? Grippy?? Smooth?? Any one have a knife with one? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the link. Does anyone know how well it works compared to the more common materials we all know and love. The website above did nothing to compare the performance of the materials.

There are a bunch of custom makers using it. From all reports it's pretty tough. I doubt it's as tough as micarta but what else is? It's definitely attractive stuff.
