This handle has more curl than the other's did with the leopard effect more pronounced on the left side of the handle

There is no doubt that Steve is a master hawk maker. You can pay a lot more and never reach the quality of Steve's Hawks. I bought this hawk without hesitation and I will forever
be grateful for the opportunity to own a masterpiece like this. Steve, you make the Holy Grail of tomahawks and will someday reach legendary status in your field.

Your kind word's are appreciated Steve,i don't know about being a Master i just like to have nice thing's as much as the next guy and my self taught ability has given me that opportunity to do so,just passing along some of the ware's for those who enjoy them like i do.

Hi mossyhorn ,
Steve is already there mate hes passed that stage in
my book and i think we are very lucky to have a man like him
here.he has contributed a lot to us interested in hawks ,
Chris

I agree Chris..Steve does hold a special presence for us all. We would all do well to remember to achieve the status he has achieved It takes tremendous dedication and sacrifice and attention to detail to make your mark, as he has. I know of hawks out there that demand 3 times the price of what a true custom hawk from Steve will cost. I suggest passing on those and judge quality commensurate within their abilities.

agreed,Mr.Steve is a craftsman.I work with steel every day at work and what he does wit it is amazing to me.Best of all I spoken with him and bragged on him on several occasions,he is a very down to earth and very humble. He is what we call a good ol boy down here.I proudly own two of his hawks and intend on getting more.

Handle-The color is very close to the color of wood that I have on one of my slate pots. It's made of a wood we call osage orange.
Spike hawk- Great looking,Congrats to the new owner.
The file work adds a very nice touch
Yes, Steve is a true Master Craftsman and a wealth of knowlege.
Thank you Steve !!! for all of your contributions to this hobby we enjoy.
I cannot wait for mine.
