My Apple Coral 110 is out for delivery so I thought I'd better give you a little heads up. There will be pictures posted soon! I don't want to freak you out again like I did when I posted the picture of the Apple Coral 532!;)

Are you going to keep it as is, or are you going to do a blade switch? I was thinking that the Apple Coral would be great with a 154CM or a BCCI S30V Drop Point blade. Still thinking about it for myself...

I don't know yet. Since I doubt that it will ever be carried or used, it doesn't really matter what blade is in it. I'll have to think on it.

If I could send it to Buck for an S30V blade, I'd probably go for that just because I know they would do a great job and I wouldn't have to worry about the knife being damaged by them.

I have been wondering what a damascus blade would look like with the Apple Coral frame. HL

I'm typing this with both eyes shut tight. Thank you kindly for the warning.

Blade swaps: I'd like to have a satin S30V 110 blade from the custom shop for my user 186. Will they sell me one? Will they install it for me? I've seen a very few 110-sized blades for sale @ auction but I'd prefer one direct from Buck. Ding dangit don't I type proper without looking. Pagination. Yup. It is all due to pagination my friends.

It just showed up and to me, the coral is just spectacular. It's past the time of day to take any photos, but I will tomorrow for sure. I just may wait to post them until the SPS though.;)

Dave, now your being just plain mean :D I can hardly wait to see your pics!

I needed an S30V blade for my 186 Titan. Joe Houser said they no longer did blade trade outs. In the old days you could send in a 110 and get a blade upgrade for $30. New accountants running the show apparently. I bought an Alaskan Guide and knocked it apart. My 186 now has an S30V blade that is coated with TDLC which I use as a finishing steel for other knives.

Ok oregon, just a heads up. I'm going to put up a picture in the SPS soon so be prepared! Not the best I've ever taken, but the lighting sucks here this morning.

I appreciate the warning. Thank you kindly.

Welding hood on, check, one eye closed, check, looking the other way, check, covered computer screen with a sheet so I'm ready.
